Trigun is one of my all-time favorite anime series. Book one of this two-part manga really does not deal much with the overarching plot of the trigun universe, and is primarily introduction to the skilled and humorous character of Vash. The action scenes are honestly pretty hard to follow, but it's hard for me not to love the art/5(36).
Trigun is another famous story in that genre, and the anime in particular is considered by many to be just as much of a classic as is Cowboy Bebop.
I've only seen two episodes of the anime and thought it was quite good, but more often than not I prefer to read the manga/5. Trigun begins with the members of the Bernardelli Insurance Society, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson. Meryl is a demanding and moody woman who (very slowly) softens her unpleasant demeanor (I’m not saying Meryl’s an unlikable character but I’d be surprised to find a fan of hers)/5().
Trigun: Deep Space Planet Future Gun Action (Book 2) Paperback – Janu by Yasuhiro Nightow (Author)/5(29). A fantastic art book of one of my favorite series, this is a must own for Trigun fans. Includes a fold out illustration, a ton of preproduction work arts, and some Japanese interviews (not translated!.
This book is entirely in Japanese.) Even if you can't read kanji, it's nice to leave out for guests to look at as a coffee table book/5(15). Trigun Maximum Book Series (14 Books) (14 Books)Author: Justin Burns.
Trigun delivers one of the better stories in the anime and manga world, with an adventurous and fun setting, with the right amount of tension and seriousness.
Expect a fantastic amount of action and fun in this book!/5(23). Trigun, the TV series, had a limited broadcast run in Nightow also created the characters and story for the Sega/Red Entertainment anime and third-person shooter video game series Gungrave.

Trigun is a wonderful story in a sci-fi dystopian world with a western feel and quirky humor. However, I think I would have found the manga slightly confusing had I not already seen the anime.
In this rare case, I would recommend the film over the book/5. Book 1 of Trigun features the story of Vash trying to evade bounty hunter after bounty hunter as the word of the 60 Billion Double Dollar reward spreads, and Vash's voyage aboard the sand-steamer "Flourish".
Trigun reads like a futuristic western, (with Vash as the Clint Eastwood/John Wayne type) but in the traditional and undeniable manga style/5(35). Trigun is a wonderful manga with characters that you'll fall in love with and great philosophy behind it all.
It can be hard sometimes to fully understand what's going on, but if you bear with it everything will fall into place; it's definitely worth reading to the end/5(34).

As messy and 'raw' as it is beautiful and genuinely earnest, Trigun Omnibus was a great read that occasionally had me scratching my head.
The book worked at its absolute best when it meshed manga tropes with desperate western shootouts, though it occasionally dips into some much heavier scifi themes that I enjoyed but wasn't entirely sold on (though I'm sure /5.The Trigun anime and manga series features an extensive cast of characters created by Yasuhiro series takes place on a fictional desert planet where humanity has taken up root after leaving Earth.
